What is MinIO?
MinIO is S3-compatible object storage you run yourself: buckets, access keys and the same API your existing tools already speak.
Why you would run it
It gives you object storage without rewriting anything, because everything that talks to S3 talks to MinIO. A practical way to keep large files in-country.
